Chocen - A very interesting equipment spotted

I decided to start a new thing. In the Chocen directory, I will be posting the most interesting things that happen on the Chocen trainstation daily. And you know, there is always something different among the monotone flow of life.

The first example will be quite interesting. This machine came in the early morning and started moving around the tracks that are almost never used.


Soon I realized they were cleaning the grass!


It moved all the way up and down, and later during the day apparently got a clear track and went onto the other end of the station, cleaning the grass there as well.


Quite an interesting one indeed! Freshened-up my day.

    this is great stuff. I live next to CSX main line well actually I can throw a rock and hit the train. the CSX station is less than a mile below where I live. they some great stuff that goes by and things done to rails constantly. it really gets interesting during a lighting storm, I have seen lighting hit the rails and when it does it turns the crossing lights on.
